The end of civilization stools

Columns

Are inspired by ancient ruins. We see the ruined columns as a noble monument to the cradle of European civilization. And we automatically perceive these shapes as aesthetically pleasing. They are the pillars of classics education. All Museums have them in their collections and as part of the architecture.

I have made my pillars of malleable clay, and they are not straight or noble white. They are twisted and richly colored with many layers. In a group, it forms a romantic ruin, or we can sit on the pillar itself and rise.

The columns are of various sizes from 20 cm in height and 16 cm in diameter to 60 cm high by 24cm in diameter.
